Water Damage Rebuild After a Supply Line Failure
A refrigerator supply line failed overnight and flooded the kitchen and hallway. We handled the removal, subfloor correction, flooring, drywall and trim — the full put-back under one company.

The situation
The loss had been sitting for two days before the manager was notified. Water had travelled under the kitchen flooring into the hallway, and the bottom of the adjacent drywall was saturated well above the visible stain line.
What we did
- Mapped the moisture with a meter to find where the water had actually travelled
- Removed the affected flooring and the swollen bottom course of drywall
- Dried and verified the subfloor and wall cavity before closing anything up
- Corrected and leveled the subfloor where it had swelled at the seams
- Installed new luxury vinyl plank with a vapor barrier and clean transitions
- Replaced the drywall, matched the texture, primed and painted
- Replaced baseboard, caulked and painted the trim
The result
The kitchen and hallway were returned to better-than-original condition, and the unit was back on the market eight working days after we started — one schedule, one invoice, no second vendor to chase.
