Shower Renovation & Tile Replacement in Las Vegas

Failing showers and cracked tile rebuilt from the substrate up — new pan, proper waterproofing, new tile, new valve and a new glass door.

NV State Licensed · Fully Insured · CMRC Certified — Mold Remediation

A shower that leaks almost never fails at the tile. It fails behind it — at the pan, the seams or the substrate — which is why tiling over a bad waterproofing job only buys you another year or two. We strip the shower back to the studs, rebuild the pan and the substrate, and waterproof it properly before a single tile goes up.

That same visit also fixes what's usually behind the wall: a corroded valve, a soft section of framing, or drywall that has been quietly absorbing water. Because we're a licensed construction company rather than a tile-only crew, the repair and the rebuild happen under one scope and one schedule.

How we renovate a shower

Tear out, rebuild the pan and substrate, waterproof, then set and finish.

  1. 1

    Inspect and scope

We check the pan, the valve and the wall behind the tile, then give you a written scope with line-item pricing so you know what's being replaced before demolition starts.

  2. 2

    Demolition and repair

The old shower comes out and gets hauled away. Soft framing, damaged drywall and a failing valve are repaired while the wall is open.

  3. 3

    Pan, backer and waterproofing

A new sloped pan and cement backer board go in, seams and penetrations are taped, and a waterproof membrane is rolled or sheeted over the walls and pan.

  4. 4

    Tile, glass and finish

Tile is dry-laid first, then set, grouted and siliconed, the glass door and trim go on, and the surrounding walls are textured and painted to match.
