Full-Unit Flooring Replacement
Fifteen-year-old carpet came out of a 3-bedroom rental and new luxury vinyl plank went down throughout, over a corrected and leveled subfloor, with new baseboards.

The situation
The original carpet had been through several tenancies and the subfloor had high spots at the seams that would telegraph through any plank flooring installed over them.
What we did
- Removed and hauled away all existing carpet, pad and tack strip
- Tested the slab for moisture vapor and installed a compatible vapor barrier
- Ground the high spots and patched the low spots to a level plane
- Installed luxury vinyl plank with expansion gaps maintained at every perimeter wall
- Installed new baseboards throughout, caulked and painted
- Detailed the unit and hauled away all debris
The result
A tired, dated rental now shows like a newer build, and the plank flooring can be repaired one piece at a time instead of room by room. This is the highest-return single upgrade we do on a Las Vegas rental.
